West Kent Ladies August League, 2022 season
Rules of the league: Teams will be 8 a-side.
• 12 overs of 8 balls.
• Wides and no balls are scored as 3 with no extra balls given.
• Bowlers can only bowl a maximum of 3 overs (a minimum of 4 bowlers required).
• Batsman retire at 25 runs. A batsman can go back into bat if there are overs left to play and no one else is available to bat due to wickets/retirements.
Scoring is as follows:
• 5 points will be awarded for a win or a match forfeit.
• 3 points for a draw or an abandoned game.
• Each wicket/catch/run-out will score the fielding team 1 point.
• If a team is all out an additional 3 points will be awarded.
• Each batsman who retires will score 1 batting point.
The bonus points will be awarded and calculated by the league secretary at the end of the league. An update will be provided half-way through the season. Fielding and batting points can not be added to the website at this time.
