  1. Colin Skinner at 1.59pm, Sun 9 Jul 06

The remaining three players were Daniel, Mike and Penny who had good allround games and finally Rick who stepped in as a guest player to complete the 8.

  2. Colin Skinner at 1.55pm, Sun 9 Jul 06

Kal top scored, took two wickets and two catches as T&E defeated BAPS. BAPS played well but struggled against what was to be the best ever fielding done by T&E. Colin also caught one and bowled one as BAPS went down with just 26 runs all out after 5 overs and two balls, the fielding was so tight. They did take the extra 5 for an extra lady though.

Then it was up to the batting as they chased 35.The first over was steady with Kal starting along side Ray who was caught out. After the second over T&E found themselves on 14 for 1 and victory was on the cards unless they had a batting crumble. The third over which lasted for 14 balls due to wides and no balls T&E won the game with a single run on the 10th ball.

The match carried on as both teams wanted a practice. Kal finished her batting as she retired with 21 after being at the crease for 7 overs. Colin finished with 17 not out and Steve was out for 15. T&E finished the game with 89 runs even though they took thier foot of the gas and did not gamble for those runs that you get if you tried.

A good enjoyable game had by all and next week T&E will face the league champions Owen Williams.
This is set to be a tough encounter and Owen Williams will be a little concerned after the encounter last year. In a surprise finish T&E were the only team for the whole season to actually beat them in the league.
