We’ve made the statistics on this website more flexible. There are now statistics for your ground, but you can also filter all the statistics by any combination of player, team, ground, competition or date. If your team doesn’t have any statistics yet, now is the time to find out how to add matches and results in the new season.
Here’s the full list of changes:
- Every ground now has a summary of the best batting, bowling and catching at that ground, just like the ones on the team and league pages. Follow the link to find a top-ten summary of each of those statistics, and follow the links to see the rest of the list.
- Whenever you choose the “view all” option for the best batting and bowling, or the most runs, wickets and catches, you can filter the results by any combination of team, ground, competition or date. For example, see who got the most runs at your ground in last year’s cup matches.
- Visit any player’s page and follow the link to view their batting or bowling. The results are filtered by player and you can add any of the other filters – team, ground, competition or date.
- Wherever those filter options are available, as well as seeing the results on the website you can download them as a CSV spreadsheet to sort, filter or chart however you want to.
We’ll be adding more ways to filter these statistics, and any new statistics we add to the site will come with the same filter and download options. It’s only as good as the data you add to the website though, so start planning to put your scorecards online this season. Don’t forget you can put past seasons on too, and start seeing how the leaderboards have changed over time.
