Ringmer A wins Sussex Girls Schools’ Stoolball Championship

In glorious sunshine, Plumpton Cricket Club hosted the third annual Sussex Girls’ Stoolball Championship for year 7 and 8 students. With six teams qualifying from a number of areas in Sussex, each match was keenly contested producing some very close games.

The 2012 winners were Ringmer Community College A who won all five of their matches with Sackville School from East Grinstead in runners-up spot. Play throughout the day showed just how much stoolball talent is emerging throughout the schools in Sussex which is promising for the future.
