Become a Level 1 stoolball coach

Wednesday 22 February 2012, 9.45am

Do you want to improve your knowledge of stoolball? Do you want to help players improve at your club, or in your local school? Sign up now for our Level 1 coaching course on 24-25 March 2012 at Alfold Village Hall in Surrey.

The course costs £60, and will begin with a session on First Aid, with a tutor from St John Ambulance (Saturday morning 9.30am-12.30pm), followed by a Child Protection and Safeguarding course with tutor Helen Murdock (1.30pm-4.30pm). There will be breaks for tea and coffee, and a break for lunch between the sessions. Sunday will be totally about stoolball batting, bowling and fielding, and will run from 9.30am-4.30pm with breaks for tea and coffee and lunch.

Alfold Village Hall is situated at Alford Crossways just off the A281, which is the main road running between Horsham and Guildford. The address is Alfold Village Hall, Dunsfold Road, Alfold, Surrey, GU6 8JB. All delegates will need to come suitably dressed for the weather and bring a packed lunch and a drink, but hot drinks and a small amount of food will be available.

If you or any of your team would like to become a stoolball coach, please give your details (club, name, address, telephone number or email address) to Kay Price on 01403 252419 or kay@….

Please note: We are running this course instead of our proposed Level 2 course due to high demand. We still hope to run a Level 2 course later in the year.
