Wealden Stoolball Club managed to retain its title as league winners in 2004, but only after heated competition and a fiercely contested play-off against Ringmer.
The play-off for top spot was always going to be the most nail-biting game of the season with the two clubs closely matched. Wealden secured the win with just one ball of the game remaining.
