On a cold, blustery evening Lewes Arms made a promising start in the field with Trevor and Jack dismissing 5 early wickets. However, this made way for County Hall's big hitters to move in, with strong performances from Alan (46), Sean (40) and Rick (31), the latter finally being beautifully caught by a truly balletic one-hander from Mary.

Despite a valiant start by Lewes Arms' opening partnership of Phil and Kelly (31), it really wasn't their night. The rest of the batting order only managed single figures each, falling victim to run outs and some fine catches from the opposition as the wind carried the ball high into the air. The last laugh, however, belonged to the Arms - the final ball went for 6 courtesy of a defiant slug from Adam.
