Laughton batted first and Helen opened up early but was caught by Rubi "Stokes" Batton right on the boundary. Tricky batting by Lynda finally foiled by a catch virtually behind the wicket by Jen Lay, with Laughton all out in 10th over. Barcombe batting with Angharad having to make up for missed catches and fielding bloopers went on to score 47 before retiring. Score passed in the 6th over, with Sam Latham fielding excellently for Laughton to stop a number of boundaries.
