Barcombe Stoolball Club is holding a mixed stoolball tournament on 13 August from 11am at Barcombe recreation ground. There will be a bar, BBQ and other stalls. Teams should consist of 8 players (maximum of 4 men) and everyone is welcome to enter a team. This DVD, with accompanying booklet, allows anyone new to stoolball see how to play. The film explains the rules and promotes the atmosphere and friendliness which runs through the game.
It shows a league game, a children’s game, a tournament with ladies-only and mixed teams, a school game, indoor stoolball in a sports hall and how to set up.
The accompanying booklet contains rules, helpful hints and useful addresses. The DVD runs for 40 minutes.
